Sloppy Waffles - Weeknights with Manwich

This post brought to you by Manwich.  All opinions are 100% mine.

I have a quick confession before I begin this post, this is not a recipe by me. This is a recipe both created and made by Little Man.  My sweet 8 year old got so excited when he saw the Manwich cans sitting on the counter.  I asked him if he had any ideas for something we could make with the mix and he yelled out "Sloppy Waffles!"   It was almost like he had this plan for a while - I couldn't argue with him.

He chose to make this dish with the bold Manwich mix but all the flavors would have worked.  The Original and the Thick & Chunky are equally as tasty.

Little Man made this dish during the week, I can't tell you how crazy our weeknights have been now that school has begun.  I am always looking for something quick and easy to throw together and this definitely fit into the Easy Weeknight Meals category.

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

1 can Manwich

waffles (either frozen or homemade)

Directions:

Follow the directions on the can to prepare the sloppy jo.

Toast or make your waffles.

Serve the mix over the waffles and enjoy.  The picture I have of the waffles shows how I served them. everyone but me decided to top their meal with another waffle creating a sandwich out of it.  Both ways are delicious!
