I am always on the lookout for different ways to use ground beef. I have an entire Pinterest board dedicated to this task and it's simply titled, "What to do with Ground Beef." When I saw this recipe for Cheater Korean Beef from The Girl Who ate Everything and originally from Lizzy Writes, I knew I had to try it out. Besides the fact that it looked so simple to make, the flavors sounded perfect for my pickiest eater, my Little Man.
We all loved this dish and it will definitely be made again. This dish is sweet, salty and bit spicy. Both bloggers recommended pairing it with steamed broccoli, I made spinach with ours but I bet the broccoli would have been a great accompaniment. You need to try this simple and flavorful dish ASAP...Enjoy!!

recipe from Lizzy Writes
1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon ginger, minced
1/2 - 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
salt and pepper
1 bunch of green onions, chopped
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef with the garlic and the sesame oil. Drain most of the fat and add in the brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, and salt and peppers. Let this mixture simmer for a few minutes so the flavors come together.
Serve over steamed rice and top the dish with the chopped green onions.
