As you all know, I love my oats. I love them in any way, shape or form. I love them hot and I love them cold. And now I love them in this great new cereal I had the opportunity to try, Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy.
Honey Bunches of Oats Morning Energy comes in two great flavors; Cinnamon Crunch and Chocolatey Almond Crunch. I really loved the flavors of both cereals. My go to breakfast this week has been the Cinnamon Crunch. I loved the taste and I am a huge fan of some added crunch in my cereal, actually its a requirement for me. The Chocolatey Almond Crunch was great too, I mean its chocolate! I have a bit of trouble eating chocolate for breakfast but - I am perfectly happy to consume this as a mid-morning snack. And I did just that - quite often I might add.
Both of these cereals are not just packed with great flavors, they are also packed with whole grains, protein, and fiber to give you the energy you need to help get you going in the mornings and to keep you going. One of the main things I try to include in our breakfasts is protein, a lot of times my kids want a bowl of cereal or a waffle and I don't feel like they are getting what they need. When combined with a half a cup of fat free milk you are getting 10g of protein as well as 5g of fiber in one serving. I also love that that this wholesome cereal is one my entire family enjoyed. My kids and husband all fought over the box of Chocolatey Almond Crunch. I was able to sit back and enjoy the Cinnamon Crunch on my own...so good!
