MatchaDNA Latte + a Review

Matcha DNA Green Tea

I was recently asked to review MatchaDNA,  a green tea that is organically grown and hand picked.  I was more than happy to give it a try, I drink a lot of green tea.  Green tea has so many great health benefits.  Here is what sets this particular tea a part from the others.

"Both teas have a deep green color and thick, savory taste and texture. Both are high in EGCG and antioxidants. However, our Chinese MatchaDNA™ is smoother, without the bitterness, and has rich, smooth and fresh taste unlike any other."

Also

"One glass of MatchaDNA™ may be the equivalent of 10 glasses of green tea in terms of its nutritional value and antioxidant content."

This particular green tea comes in powder form and dissolves quickly when mixed into hot water.  Most of the time I drank this with just hot water, but the last time I made it, I got a bit creative.  I made a latte by adding a small amount of sweetener and some almond milk.  I loved it.  It was a great sweet and healthy treat in the middle of the day.

Green Tea Latte
1.  Add contents of bag and sweetener to cup.
2. Add boiling water (leaving room for milk.)  Stir to dissolve.
3.  Add  milk (can warm and froth the milk if desired.)

Here is some more information about MatchaDNA

Have you tried it yet?
