Game Day Chocolate Dipped Strawberries

It's football season. Yup  - Its that time already.  On game day we all gather around the TV and put on our jerseys and watch some football.  Sweet Girl tends to wander off and do her own thing on these days.  I really hate that -so in order to entice her to join in, I came up with a plan.  I decided to have her help me these delicious Game Day Chocolate Dipped Strawberries.  She doesn't mind leaving the dips and chips behind but when these are out, she stays and hangs out with the family. Another added bonus - she loves making them -it's like a fun craft that you get to eat when your done.

Its super easy too:
Step 1
Melt some milk chocolate
Step 2
Dip washed and dried strawberries in to the chocolate.
Step 3
Melt the white chocolate and then pour into a pastry bag (or plastic baggie) add the designs to the strawberries.

You can met your chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler.

To counteract all this great snacking the four of us will head outside during halftime and play something we enjoy; a game of volleyball or kickball.  We do this so we can come back in and snack some more.  Makes sense right?

The boys always try a bit harder than the girls (by that I mean they dive and fall a lot) and they come in smelling like - well boys.  Have you tried  Tide Plus Febreze Freshness Sport? It is Specially designed for sports apparel and fights tough sports stains like grass, dirt clay and blood. It’s the #1 sports detergent* that also helps eliminate odor and leaves all clothes clean and fresh.  Perfect for that "boy" smell and I bet it could handle the tough game day food stains too!

What do you guys do on game day?  What are your go to recipes?
