Martha Stewart's Favorite Crafts for Kids (a Review + Giveaway)

I was so excited when I was contacted to review the Martha Stewart's Favorite Crafts for Kids book.  Oddly enough, the day I received the e-mail asking if I was interested in reviewing it, I had just got done Googling "things to do with the kids" and how to cure the "I'm bored's" and the "there's nothing to do's"  yup I Googled those things and perused good ol' Pinterest but couldn't find any ideas using things we already had in the house.

So would I be interested in reviewing this book was the question.  My answer was "YES-PLEASE!!"

I looked through this book for the first time with the kids and they really wanted to try something right away.  They were curious about this one:

So we tried it!

I forgot how much fun this stuff was.  I played too and we made a mess but it was all in the name of fun... and science which was pretty cool too.

Both my kids couldn't get enough of the book, I found Sweet Girl on the floor of the bedroom with the book open to this page:

And she was surrounded by these little guys!

Little Man needed a turn too - I found him and a friend in the sun room with the book open, they were looking at these:

And the room was covered with these-  this is just a sample stack.

And we have a lot more pages bookmarked and supplies to purchase.  Also, we are really enjoying the  new crafts for kids video collection, you need to check that out as well.

I think this a great book and I am super excited because I get to offer one lucky reader  a copy of the book as well as some fun surprises from the Martha Stewart Crafts collection.

I was provided with a copy of Martha Stewart's Favorite Crafts for kids to review.  All opinions are my own.

  4. Hard to choose between making the butterflies or painting the umbrella. (We're having unending rain here, so I might need that umbrella!) Thanks for the chance to win.
