My favorite green smoothie

As promised, here is the Green Smoothie that I have been drinking a lot lately.  I am pretty sure I found this recipe in Everyday by Rachael Ray but I have not been able to track it down to confirm.  Its a super simple recipe so I never wrote it down and I guess I didn't bookmark or pin it either.  The green in this smoothie is kale but you can't taste it once the ingredients are blended together.  But be sure to use the correct measurements and to chop the kale before adding it to the blender (even if you might be tempted to throw in some extra kale because its the end of the bunch and you think you cut it down enough before throwing in the blender - it may end up crunchy and chewy - just saying.)

What you need:
1 cup of kale, chopped
1 banana, sliced
1 cup almond milk

What you do:
Blend and serve.


  1. I love green smoothies + this one sounds great! my current fave is a tropical green smoothie that is on my blog - it tastes like something you'd drink in the carribbean (+ that would be great with rum added). =)

  6. I have yet to try a green smoothie -- I'd have to swap out the almond milk (allergies), but the recipe sounds fun!
