Back to school already - time flies (although we are actually back to school almost 2 weeks late because we live in that crazy county in TN that was all over the news - yup that's us.) But none the less we are back to school. Today is actually my kids first day back and I am sitting in my very quiet house watching the clock waiting for them to get home. I love having them here with me and I am not ready to share them with the school yet.
But since they are back - they can't go back empty handed right? So they each brought a special gift for their teachers. I have made quite a few of these remember this fun one (my favorite- I think) or this one, and a polka dotted one.
This first one is for Little Mans teacher, he is a first grader this year so I wanted something fun - that's why I chose this cute font and added the polka dots. His teachers classroom had a lot of black designs throughout so I went with this color scheme - I hope she likes it.
Sweet Girl helped with hers. She made it clear she wanted a different (more grown up) font on her gift. So she chose the one we used. Her teacher had a lot of bright primary colors in her room so that's why we went with the blue "4th grade rocks!" on the bottom.
I make these personalized bottles by peeling off the labels of the sanitizer bottles and washing off all the glue (I have decided there is absolutely no easy way to do this.) Then I use my cricut to cut out the shapes I need and the wording on vinyl. Stick the vinyl on and that's it.
