I know I talk about oatmeal in all forms on my blog a lot but what can I say - I love the stuff! I really do. And these great Quaker Soft Baked Bars are no exception. They are really tasty and healthy which of course, is always an added bonus. My favorite is the Banana Nut Bread flavored bars, I love them! They are really good warmed up a bit first... thats how we eat them around here most of the time. They make a great quick breakfast snack but honestly they are good anytime of day. I love this wholesome treat for an after school snack for the kids. I have only tried the Banana Nut Bread bars but I can not wait to try the Cinnamon Roll Bars. Seriously - how good does this look?
My kids love these Quaker Soft Baked Bars and that makes me very happy because these bars are a wholesome food with only 140 calories, 5g of fiber, 6g of protein and they are an excellent source of 5 B-vitamins. My husband likes them too. He is always running a bit behind schedule in the mornings and therefor needs to grab his breakfast on the go - this had become one of his favorite bars to grab as he heads out the door.
