I love Fridays! I love having a drink with my Hubby and discussing our week and just unwinding. I love neighbors that come by to do the same. I love everything about Fridays...usually. Last Friday was a very busy then very hectic day. I started off bright and early getting Sweet Girl ready for her dance dress rehearsal and then I needed to get Little Man dressed and dropped off at a friends so I could drive Sweet Girl downtown and find a parking place. I then needed to get her ready to perform and I needed to prepare to sit for hours and hours and hours between her costume changes and doing her hair and makeup. But things changed after our first costume change when I noticed a bad rash on her stomach and asked a nurse friend of mine what she thought - she looked at me and said "chicken pox -you can get it if you have been vaccinated" noooo. Sweet Girl worked so hard for this dance and she needed to be there for rehearsal and then the next day for her actual performance. We left rehearsal early and went to the doctor to find out for sure what it was, "well, it could be chicken pox or it could not." Hmmm thanks for that info doctor (did I really just pay for that visit?) So I did what any normal person would do and I went home and googled! I googled chigger bites (2 friend of mine both said chigger bites.) Could be - we had to wait until morning to see if it spreads (chicken pox) or doesn't (not chicken pox.)
I needed to unwind after that mess and Hubby was happy to create me one of the best margaritas I ever had! So..if you had a crazy day or a crazy week or a good day or a good week or.... definitely give this great Ginger-Citrus Margarita a try...enjoy!!
the - verdict - definitely not chicken pox!
