What I Bookmarked This week

Today's post is a bit late - but better late than never right?  We had a busy day and night yesterday and are having a hard time getting started today.   I am a proud momma today - last night my kids completed the ING Kids Rock Marathon!  These Rockin Runners ran a few miles a week with their running club at school and then last night they all went downtown and completed the last lap where today's marathoners are running.  This is Sweet Girls second year running and Little Mans first.  And they both can't wait until next year.

On to the Bookmarks...
It's Saturday - time to share my weekly bookmarks with you. These are recipes I want to try or projects that have inspired me. Here are a few from this week I hope they inspire you as well.

I am not an ice cream lover at all - but this Pineapple and Sage Ice Cream from The Bitten Word  has me wanting a big  scoop or two.

Can You Stay For Dinner made these Smoky Fish Tacos with Cilantro Lime Crema.  They sound and look fantastic!

And how about these Starbuck's Hot Cocoa Chocolate Chip Muffins from Amanda's Cookin'?  This is definitely my kind of muffin!

I have never cooked with rhubarb before so this Savory Rhubarb and Chipotle Goat Cheese Pizza That Joanne from Eats Well With Others made for Marcus Samuelsson really caught my attention.

I love this post from Food Your Way, 30 Pantry Staples to Make From Scratch, I am eager to start making all my own stuff!

How cute are these Mini Garden Gnomes?  I fell in love with them when I saw them at Apartment Therapy and I put them on our summer project list.  The kids are going to enjoy making these.

You can find a lot more of my favorite things on Pinterest .
These are few of the many things in the blogosphere that have inspired me this week - what has inspired you??

  1. We made the chicken enchiladas and really liked them! They even impressed my sister whose fiance is a chef! Yum!

  2. The pizza looks fun - I'm game for anything with rhubarb. So glad your kids had fun in the run; always great to see such big smiles on their faces.

  3. Those muffins look like they are to die for!! :)
