A Special Frozen Treat

I am so happy to have been given this opportunity to tell you about COOL WHIP and how I use it to make everyday treats for my family more special, I was very excited because I knew I had the perfect recipe to share. I have been making these Special Frozen Treats for years and have not had the chance to share them with all of you yet.   I make these frozen sandwiches with COOL WHIP whipped topping  for my kids and husband all the time and we all really enjoy them.  My kids have started making them with me which of course adds to the fun and makes them taste all the better.

I know this is going to sound a bit crazy to some of you, but I don't eat a lot of ice cream (I know I am strange, I warned you)  but these frozen treats are something I get excited about.  The COOL WHIP  whipped topping in the center of these sandwiches adds the perfect creamy consistency and sweetness that you look for in a dessert.  And now that the weather has warmed up quite a bit and the kids love to sit outside with a nice cold treat after running and playing all day, I do my best to keep these on hand for them and their friends. These sandwiches only require two ingredients and these treats are so easy to make too -you can make just one or a whole bunch - I guess that would be why I think they are perfect for an everyday treat.  In our house we always make a lot of them and keep a big batch in the freezer at all time...Enjoy!!

What you need:
Chocolate graham crackers, broken in half so you  have squares (as many as you feel like making)
COOL WHIP whipped topping

What you do:
Lay out half of your graham crackers.
Place a nice size dollop of COOL WHIP on top of the graham crackers.

Now top with the remaining graham crackers.
They are now ready to freeze. I like to wrap mine in parchment paper and then place them all in a large freezer bag or a big plastic container. Place in the freezer until ready to eat.

How do you use COOL WHIP to make everyday treats more special for your family?  I would love to hear your ideas and recipes.
