What I Bookmarked This Week

It's Saturday - time to share my weekly bookmarks with you. These are recipes I want to try or projects that have inspired me. I missed a week over the holidays so I have an abundance of bookmarks - I'll try to narrow it down to my faves.

You all know by now that I am a sucker for a good pumpkin recipe.  These Spiced Pumpkin Pepita Biscotti from Sugar Plum look so good!

I love this idea for Kalyn's Stuffed Cabbage Casserole from Skinnytaste.  I love Stuffed Cabbage but don't have the patience for it - this is a great alternative.

Here's another one from Skinnytaste(can you tell I'm trying to eat healthier for the new year) This one is full of some of my favorite ingredients, Chicken with Leeks and Sun Dried Tomatoes in a White Wine Sauce...Yum!

Of course it is winter and we do need our comfort food.  How about some Creamy Slow Cooker Chicken with Biscuits from Framed Cooks?

Last year I learned how to make fabric flowers through blog tutorials - this year I am hoping to do more with them and I may start with these adorable Rosette Keychains from Vixen Made.

House of Smiths always has some great projects but I am particularly smitten with this one.  I really want one of these Magnetic Organizational Boards in my kitchen.

This was my favorite "what I got for Christmas" post - I am so jealous of Gluesticks new Display Case - her husband gave her a case full of items to help stage her cooking and crafting projects.  Very Cool - Right? (Hubby take note ; )

Here is my top post from December

  1. I bookmarked the cabbage casserole too! Made it last night with a few minor tweaks
    *mixed onions with cabbage
*ran out of diced tomatoes (didn't know it) and used tomato sauce (you know the easy kind in a jar)
    *white rice
and it was DELISH!!! I discovered last year how much I LOVE cabbage and have been trying to find ways to make it ever since. For new years I pan fried it with apples and pears as a side dish and the hubby loved it.

  4. I liked the cabbage casserole too! We don't eat a lot of cabbage, but do like it - and I was hoping for some other ways to use it. Thanks for sharing this one.
