I wish I had a better picture of this - I mean I only took like two hundred pictures but I could not, no matter how hard I tried get rid of the reflections in the picture. But regardless - here is a gift I made recently for friends of ours that just got married. I have to admit - I absolutely love how this came out and I will definitely be making one for myself this week. This was so simple too - my favorite kind of craft!
I found these great frames in Mitchael's and I told Hubby I should have bought them all because they don't always have this size and shape. Next time I go I will be clearing the shelves. Besides the frame all you need is some vinyl I chose white and black for this and your favorite cutting device, I have a Cricut.
I made another one of these a while ago but could not find this shape frame - I really think this frame makes a huge difference. My other one was bigger with different fonts (it was before I had an abundance to choose from) and it was jazzed up with some pretty ribbon.

I really do love how the "West" hanging came out - so if you know me - and you have a special anniversary or wedding coming up - don't be surprised if you get one of these personalized gifts- now I just need to get back to Michael's.

I love it...do you use Cricut software or a cartridge? I like how the "est" in West is connected and I don't know how to do that, all my cartridges cut the letters single. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThis is so sophisticated that it looks like something you'd get at Pottery Barn! I can't wait to get my Cameo - it's in the mail!! My friends and family will be getting something along these lines :)
