I am so excited to show you what I made for the kids teachers this year. After making this Photo to Canvas gift for my in-laws I came up with the idea to do something similar for the teachers. I saw these adorable little canvases in the store when I bought the larger one and came up with the idea to make ornaments out of them. I used the same My Memories Suite software to create these great photo layouts of the kids classes and then went ahead and added quotes to the pictures.
After printing them up I gathered my supplies:
Photos
Mod Podge
Small Canvases
Paint
Paint Brush
Ribbon
Glue Gun
First I painted the outside of the canvas a coordinating color and let it dry.
Then my helper stepped in to make her teachers gift. She added a layer of Mod Podge to the canvas.
Then added the photo.
And another layer of Mod Podge and let it dry.
I then added the ribbon between the corners of the canvas. I used the point on scissors to make a space, added a dab of hot glue and then used the scissors again to push the ribbon in and pushed the canvas back down. You can hot glue the ribbon on any way you want though.
Also, I had the kids sign the backs to personalize it a bit.
Linking up to these happening parties!

These are really awesome Christmas gift ideas! Definitely bookmarked for when i have kids :)
