Its
Friday! That means it's time for another Your Recipe- My Kitchen
Post.
Last Friday I was scrolling through twitter when I saw the words "Chicken Schwarma in the Slow Cooker" - as you know, I love a good slow cooker recipe and I am always on the look out for them. I clicked over to Eat at Home and immediately knew this was going to be dinner that night! Let me start by saying the aroma was magnificent!! I can't tell you how good my house smelled (and not just that day- it lingered and in a good way.) Neighbor boy was playing with the kids and every time they would come back in the house, he would stop and sniff (again - in a good way.) I am happy to report that this recipe was a huge hit with Little Man and Sweet Girl - Hubby thought it was amazing too. I served this with some coconut rice and Cucumber Raita. I was originally going to make pitas for it but we had an abundance of tortillas in our house so I served this with tortillas instead. Enjoy!!
recipe adapted from Eat at Home
