What I Bookmarked This Week

I'm going to  try to share my weekly bookmarks with you.  These are recipes I want to try or projects that have inspired me.  Here are a few from this week I hope they inspire you as well:

I have a new button on my sidebar - if you have been bookmarked on my site be sure to grab one.

I can't believe how many recipes I bookmarked this week.  You guys are awesome!  I don't think I'll be able to narrow it down to just three.  Let's see what we have.

I have a sweet tooth so it's dessert first today.
Can You Stay For Dinner shared some Chewy Double Chocolate Coconut Blondies.  They sound amazing and the post is pretty funny too.

cookie bars, straw bars, quinoa 109

Passover is coming up and I am definitely going to give this recipe from The Jewish Hostess a try.  Chocolate Covered Caramelized Matzoh Crunch YUM!!!

For our last dessert we head over to Cookies and Cups  for some Pretzel Crusted Key Lime SquaresThis recipe reminded me of my Dad.  His absolute favorite dessert of all time was Key Lime Pie and he was also a huge pretzel fan - he always had a bag or two lying around.  I'll be making this one and thinking of him for sure.

Enough of the sweets, here are the dishes I bookmarked this week.

From Three Many Cooks we have a Butternut Squash Lasagna Bake with Ricotta and Sage  I am trying to incorporate more meatless meals into our rotation(like the Sweet Potato and Black Bean Chili I have on the stove right now) and this one sounds great.

Another meatless dish I can't wait to try is from Eats Well With Others.  This is not the first dish I have bookmarked from this blog.  Joanne is so creative in the kitchen and so witty in her posts, if you haven't been to her blog you should head over right away (well - when your done here of course.)  I bookmarked her Lentil Mango Picadillo  this week and can't wait to try it!

The Kitchn  posted this Artichoke, Kale and Ricotta Pie  I just realized this is another meatless dish - interesting.  It looks great and the ingredient list is pretty short- delicious and simple.

That's is a lot of recipes, but I couldn't leave any of these out.  They all look so good!

Of Course, I do have some projects for you as well.
Check out these amazing Ballard Knock Off Wine Barrel Plaques from Just Pleased as Punch.  I love them!

More from the wine category (I seem to be bookmarking by themes this week.)
The Elephants Trunk had some great tips on How to Remove Wine Labels from the bottles.  I bookmarked this because I have a few projects in mind for both wine labels and wine bottles.

And be sure to check out my post on Wordle if you haven't yet.  It's a really fun website where you can play around and create word art.

These are few of the many things in the blogosphere that have inspired me this week - what has inspired you??

  1. I bookmarked the same recipe!! I also saved this one: http://foodgawker.com/?s=pretzel+cookies&cat=0 I know it's not KLP, but saw them within moments of one another. Also if you do your wine thing, I'd love to donate some wine bottles to your fun. I've got about 16 to 18 that I haven't taken to the recycling yet. (I live in Nville too btw)
