Slow-Cooker Thai Style Pork

For those of you that follow me you know that  Saturdays have become my day to post my bookmarks.  I post what I have found across the blogosphere that has inspired me.  I am going to try to devote Fridays to showing you what I have done with those inspirations.  Today, I am doing what I have come to learn is called a
"Your Recipe - My Kitchen" post.

I made another recipe from my "What I Bookmarked This Week" posts.  It's another slow-cooker recipe, this one is a Thai Style Peanut Pork form eat.drink.smile. she held a slow-cooker recipe contest and this was the winning dish.  After making it I can understand why.  My kids knew the secret ingredient right away, after tasting it they both said "I can taste peanut butter!"  So, of course it was a winner with them.  That being said, I am beginning to realize just how often I cook with peanut butter, it's really quite often.  I've done pasta, chicken, pork, breakfast and of course dessert.  But back to this recipe - this one is going into our regular rotation you can visit eat.drink.smile for the recipe Enjoy!!

  2. Love Asian food and this looks delish, but hubby is allergic to nuts (severely). We don't have peanut butter in Georgia, so when I fist came to the US I loved it so much, I was eating it every single day! I ate peanut butter so much that after a year or so I could not look at it anymore. For several years I could not eat peanut butter. Now I like it again - but in moderation ;) I like to snack on an apple dipped in PB.
Thanks for the recipe anyway! Sounds fun. I need to call you about next week.
