The kids love tacos and they love pizza so why not combine the two? Taco Pizza was a hit with both Little Man and Sweet Girl. They loved that I laid out some of the toppings you would put on a taco and gave them the opportunity to choose their toppings for their pizza. Little Man, our pickiest eater, topped his with tomatoes and sour cream.
Sweet Girl, definitely my "try anything" child, added a bit more to hers.
Lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream (and I think she later went back for the onions.)
Hubby and I loaded up with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, sour cream and one of our favorite hot sauces,
Enjoy!!
What you need:
Pizza dough (I used the canned refrigerated dough)
1 lb ground beef
1 package of taco seasoning
3/4 cup water
1 can Black Beans
Mexican blend cheese
What you do:
Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick spray and spread out your dough. Precook your dough in a 400 degree oven for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, brown your beef, drain and add taco seasoning along with water. Bring to a boil and reduce heat for 5 minutes.
Top pizza dough with ground beef, black beans and cheese. Bake for 10 minutes.

This looks so good. My son would like this I think. Even though he's grown. You have great food pictures on your blog.
ReplyDeleteWe love pizza. We even have a pizza oven in our kitchen and the Mexican style is one of my favorites but I need to add the fresh lettuce and sour cream. Your photo is just mouthwatering. I will have to look for that hot sauce as I have two boys who are addicted to hot sauces!
