I haven't posted a craft in a while so finally here is one! These are some Personalized Plaques I made for the kids rooms.
This is what hangs on Sweet Girls door:
This is what hangs on Little Mans Door:
I have also made a few of these for friends and family - I'll try to dig up the pictures for you soon. Sweet Girl has a purple bedroom with a butterfly theme so her plaque was made to match that. Little Man had the Pottery Barn Kids boat bedding in his crib when he was a baby so I used that as my guide for his plaque. His room has since been changed over to a car theme so I will need to update his sign.
For both plaques I painted stripes first and then added the designs. I stamped their names on to them before adding a top coat. Little Man has a clear top coat over his and Sweet girl has a glitter top coat over hers. I embellished Sweet Girls with some wooden flowers and a bit of "bling." They were both finished off with a matching ribbon to hang them with. I'll post more designs for you to see soon - I promise!

I love the name signs, they turned out great!
ReplyDeleteThese are GREAT! I wish I were more creative bc my girls would simply love something like this. They turned out beautifully - so cheery and colorful
ReplyDeleteVery cute! I make bow holders similar to this- just add ribbon to the bottom to attach the bows to! :)
