I am on a bread making kick this days. It seems I have neglected my poorbread makerfor way too long and have definitely been spending some time becoming reacquainted with it. Over the weekend I made this loaf of bread, it is a light whole-wheat bread. I found the recipe in myComplete Bread Machine BakeryBook (something else that has been neglected for a while now.) It was a definite winner and gone within a few days. I almost made a second loaf this week when I decided to change it up a bit and make some pita bread (recipe to be posted soon) in the bread maker. Enjoy!
Pour the water into the bread pan and add a spoonful of honey. Add the flours, oatmeal and salt. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the yeast. Use the regular cycle on your bread machine.
note: some bread machines work differently, be sure to check your manual to double check the order you need to place your ingredients in the pan.
