For those of you that follow me you know that Saturdays have become my day to post my bookmarks. I post what I have found across the blogosphere that has inspired me. I am going to try to devote Fridays to showing you what I have done with those inspirations. Today, I am doing what I have come to learn is called a
"Your Recipe - My Kitchen" post.
If you follow along you may remember this dish, I posted about it in my "What I Bookmarked This Week" a few weeks back. This is Food and Whines recipe for Chicken Mole. She served hers over yams, something I need to try, I served ours over rice. We loved this dish! I loved that it was a slow-cooker recipe. I am always looking for a great recipe for what has become known around our house as "Slow-Cooker Tuesday." On Tuesdays, Sweet Girl has dance until 6:30 and by the time we get home I don't feel like cooking. It's so much nicer to know that when we get home we are going to be welcomed by the aroma of a delicious meal. This was one of those meals. Enjoy!!

i'm sure it has mouthwatering aroma. PinayMum - Mommy's Life Around...wishing you a great weekend!

ReplyDeletei love mole! haven't had it since i left the US nearly two years ago. i don't have a slow cooker, but DO use a pressure cooker, so i think i'd do this in reverse (if i can find the ingredients!) :) thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOoo I LOVE mole but hate how long it takes to cook! So great that this is a slow cooker recipe...the chicken looks so moist and saucy...the way it should be.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so good. I like dishes like this. Thanks for sharing with Sundays at One.
