Tuesdays Workout Review Kind Of - And a Giveaway!!

As I mentioned before, I have been doing P90X, I have really been sticking with it and therefore haven't had the chance to try out any other videos to review for you - I’m so sorry.  However, I will be reviewing a great book for you guys that fits into my Tuesday Review Category.  Alpine Weight Loss Secrets The natural way to look and feel 5, 10 or even 20 years younger
This book is written by Stefan Aschan.  A little background on Stefan Aschan first. Mr. Aschan has a masters degree in nutrition and has worked in the culinary arts as well as in the weight loss arena and currently has 9 fitness certificates.  You can learn more about Stefan Aschan by visiting his blog here.

I had been reading Alpine Weight Loss Secrets this past week and before I began I thought I had read it all. I try to keep current on nutrition and fitness. So I thought “What am I going to read here that I haven’t seen already?“ As soon as I started reading I noticed this book is different from other weight loss books. Alpine Weight Loss Secrets isn’t about the newest diet trends but rather a change of life program that will have you feeling stronger, healthier and slimmer.

In the book Alpine Weight Loss Secrets Stefan Aschan, also known as “Europe’s Premier Youngevity Coach” discusses and educates us on life growing up in the alps. You will soon see why people living the Alpine lifestyle are more youthful and slimmer than most Americans.

I have learned so much from this book, I will definitely incorporate some of his great tips into my lifestyle.  Mr. Aschan not only explains to us the scientific reasonings behind his teachings, but he also gives us the tools to stay on track by providing us with worksheets, charts, and pictures.  Also included are great recipes to help you implement the strategies you learn about as well as shopping lists to help you to choose foods that not only help you lose weight and gain energy, but erase years from your body. He talks about how to correct your posture speed up your metabolism and how to flatten your belly - fast (or schnell)
I’ll share my favorite tip with you: A calorie is not just a calorie: so many of us count our calories or go on calorie restricting diets to lose weight - right? You will learn to eat close to the earth and how this benefits your body as well as how it will supercharge your metabolism.

I admit, I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of information in this book  but I realized while this book could be followed page by page it is also a book that you can use as a reference- find what works for you and go for it.

  8. I want to win because I am looking for a healthier plan--my husband has been on a low carb diet for a year now--(his body can't process carbs so it's a forever plan) I spend all my time trying to keep him full (he has lost a ton of weight--but is never satisfied!) but I need carbs-I end up eating whatever and then going crazy with cake.
