Although I don't really make resolutions I did in the back of my mind decide to stick to my (almost) daily workouts and eat (a little) better. So for the new year I went ahead and started P90X. I know I'm crazy you don't have to tell me. It is a tough no messing around workout. It's definitely different from those 20 minute On Demand videos I have been doing and blogging about in the past. Everyday is an hour workout, sometimes its a strength training workout and sometimes its a killer cardio workout - there is even a day for yoga. I have not been able to do a full workout without stopping for small breaks but that's OK. Also whats even more fun (insert sarcasm here) I have not had one day without my body hurting and my muscles aching - but that just means its working (right?) Seriously though - I am happy with this program -I am adding more strength training where as before I was only doing cardio and I feel good. Also - I've lost 2 pounds!! But that could be because we are finally out of Rocky Road Bars and Peanut Butter Cups.
