This is our newest breakfast creation. I don't normally do a lot of breakfast creations - I leave that to hubby. My breakfast is normally a toasted waffle with either peanut butter or cottage cheese. The other day I decided to switch it up. I made some oatmeal and added a few of my favorite breakfast staples and it was so good! I had to make a second batch once the kids tasted it because even though they originally said "no, we don't want any" they quickly changed their minds once they had a taste. I add peanut butter to everything so here is my new favorite peanut butter oatmeal. Enjoy!
For 1 serving
Follow directions to make one serving of oatmeal as directed on container.
Add 1 (heaping) teaspoon of peanut butter to oatmeal and blend
Top with chopped bananas and a drizzle of honey.
That's it! Simple and so good
Recommendations: my pantry stock is running low, if it wasn't I would have maybe added a bit of granola or chopped nuts for texture (or maybe use chunky peanut butter).
