This is a bulletin board I made for my friends little girl a while back. It is a fun gift idea for kids (or grownups too). Unfortunately, I cant find these boards anymore. This one had a thick frame around it so it was easier to decorate, the ones I find now have much thinner frames. I love how this came out though - she LOVES horses so that was the theme I knew I had to go with. The horseshoes and smaller horses are thumbtacks. I also added a cute picket fence, a tree, a sun and some butterflies. I finished it by painting her name on top and adding some pictures I had.

I love this idea! I have a couple of the thin framed bulletin boards I need to work with.
ReplyDeleteGreat gift idea. I've been thinking about making a memo board for my niece for Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice looking bulletin board. I know what you mean about the thin framing. I have one that I would like to doll up but it has a thin frame. Thank you for linking up to my "It's Your Wonderful Life" Party. Joni
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea. What child wouldn't just adore something like this. Hopping over from Its a Wonderful Life, and it truly is.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute idea! And I love that the horseshoes are thumbtacks. What a great gift! I may have to try making a train one for my little guy! :)
