I was warned!

We are panting the main area of our house (living room, dining room, entrance and stairway) I painted a bit yesterday and when I pulled off the painters tape I was both happy and oh so disappointed.  I read all over the blogosphere and heard from friends that I needed to spend the extra money and buy Frog Tape but I had some of the blue stuff leftover so I figured I needed to finish it first - right?  Wrong - here is the difference between the two:
with frog tape - nice lines (this is the ceiling)

with the blue stuff (ceiling again) I see major touch-ups in my future.


Moral pf the story - spend the extra on Frog Tape if you are painting it is so worth it!

  1. Seriously! I know what you mean! We've been painting our entire house for the past few months. I made my husband stripe my daughters room and the tape was awful! It pulled off but the frog tape wasn't in the right size for what we needed.
