Easy and Quick Tilapia

I know I've said it before but I'm saying it again - I wish I was better at photographing my food.  Sometimes I think ...hmmm does that really look appetizing?  Like this tilapia - which,by the way, is extremely tasty.  Any food photo tips?  Here's the recipe -Enjoy!

1 lb tilapia fillets
3 tablespoons butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 of a fresh lemon
1/2 teaspoon coriander

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Pat tilapia dry and squeeze lemon juice over both sides. Season both sides with salt, pepper and coriander.  Add garlic to melted butter and pour over tilapia.  Bake for 12 minutes or until the tilapia has a flaky texture.

  1. I'm your newest follower from the Monday Blog Hops! Come check out my blog at:

    Have a great day!

  2. Hello there, I've come over from tasty Tuesdays. I have some sole filets out this evening and wasn't sure what to do with them so thank you for this.

And I totally related with the photography thoughts. I am a real beginner but one saving grace has been the photo editor in my windows program. There's a button that automatically adjusts the lighting that has made a huge difference for me. For the record, though, I think your photo is just fine - looks yummy.

On white things adding chopped parsley is another trick I've read about.

    Nice to meet you.

  3. We don't each much fish in my house (mom's not a seafood fan), but my dad and I might have to try this!

Thanks for linking this recipe up! I hope you'll stop by this week to link up more great recipes :)
